Clinique Skincare Haul from Boots

As my skin has been pretty rubbish for the past few months (due to the weather) and one of my New Years Resolutions (read more here) was to use a skincare routine I thought it was time to get some help and update my routine.

I was home for the weekend from dance school so my mum and I took a trip to our local boots store to have a skin consultation at the Clinique counter. I learnt a lot about my skin type and what I needed to do for my skincare routine, and ended up coming away with quite a few products to help! Therefore, I thought I'd share with you my Clinique skincare haul!

The first thing I purchased was a set that includes their Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Bush along with their 3-Step Skincare products (Foaming Sonic Facial Soap, Clarifying Lotion and Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion +). The Cleansing Brush vibrates and is the perfect way to cleanse and clean the screen deeper, which will help get rid of my dry skin problems.

Makeup wise I bought one of their Sweet Pots Sugar Scrub & Lip Balm to help with my chapped lips and I got it in number 3 (pink framboise). Then I also bought a Take the Day Off Makeup Remover and as Boots had a deal on Clinique, it meant I was also able to walk away with a free makeup bag with a few goodies inside as well as a Rinse-off Foaming Cleanser! Inside the super cute makeup bag there is:
  • Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips, 50ml
  • Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion+
  • All About Eyes Rich
  • All About Shadow Trio
  • High Impact Mascara
  • Clinique Pop Lip Colour & Primer

I'm so happy with my haul from Clinique, as I'm sure it will help my skincare routine. Have you ever purchased Skincare items from Clinique? Thanks for reading!

Lush Easter Haul 2016

Last weekend I was in London to see Mrs Henderson Presents at the Noël Coward Theatre. Being in London, I couldn't resist a bit of shopping; Lush was the place I headed straight for! I've walked past the Oxford Street Lush shop lots of times but unfortunately have never been, so I was incredibly excited.

I was honestly in Heaven entering the shop! It was two floors packed full of Lush goodness, seriously just look at it:

As the Easter collection was recently released, I felt that it was the perfect time to pick up a few bits to try out. I particularly like the collection this year as there are a few completely new products, a few previous favourites and a couple of re-imagined products!

The first thing I purchased was the Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt. It's toffee scented and so pretty and sparkly. I honestly wish I had a chicken who could lay these beautiful creations, much like Jack and the Beanstalk! I can't wait to try this one out as I remember loving this product last year and the year before with it being one of my favourites.

I couldn't resist buying the Bunch of Carrots Bubble Bar which came out last year. However, for this years' collection it has been re-imagined; this is because last year the carrots were just orange, but now you can buy them in pink and purple as well as orange! This product lasted me so well last year, I must have got at least six baths from them!

A new product for me to try is the Spring Bunny Bath Bomb; it has been released for the first time this year. I purchased this product as the lady in the shop said she loved how it fizzes in the bath. It has a strong citrus scent, which I love and so I can't wait to try it out, it's so cute!

Then I picked up the Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb as I completely fell in love with it's Candy Floss scent and I love how it returns each year since 2011. It shares it's scent with Snow Fairy (another love of mine) and so I couldn't resist repurchasing this product! It looks so cute, complete with its flower detailing and I honestly can't wait to use this one!

Lastly I got an Easter Lush Oxford Street exclusive which is the Over the Rainbow Bath Bomb! I picked this up as I couldn't resist trying an exclusive product and it is created with one of my favourite childhood musicals in mind!

I can't wait to try out all these products that I picked up from the 2016 Easter Collection from the Oxford Street Lush shop! I'm considering reviewing a few/all of these products over the next few weeks. Let me know in the comments below if that would be something you'd like? Thanks for reading,

I Should Have Done This Stuff Yesterday Deskpad by That Lame Company*

I was recently contacted by Chloe from That Lame Company to see if I would like to try out one of their products; I was incredibly excited to see today that my package had arrived! (Look how cute it all looks!)

That Lame Company was created by Chloe and Charlie who were two graduates that needed to find something to do in their free time, that wasn't going to cost them anything (with them being Uni students). Therefore they had the idea to set up their own company; The Lame Company was born! Chloe is the 'design guru' and Charlie runs the financial side of the company. I am obsessed with their products as they have the cutest products on sale, ranging from notebooks, desk pads, phone cases, art prints and much more!

I couldn't be more grateful for my package as I was sent the I should Have Done This Stuff Yesterday A6 Deskpad! I love to organise my life as I feel it helps me plan out everything I need to do and help me be less stressed. This product is perfect for this, as I can list everything I need to do without forgetting anything! The design is so pretty with it being originally hand painted and then scanned through to the computer; I love this effect so much! I could barely give myself time to take photos of it before I began jotting down everything I needed to do...

I highly recommend you purchasing from this company, they are so lovely and their products are even cuter! What's better is that they offer FREE UK postage and £2 overseas postage, this is by far the cheapest I've seen! I will definitely have to make another order from The Lame Company in the near future!

Have you ever purchased anything from The Lame Company? Or are you considering it now? Let me know in the comments below; thanks for reading,
