New Years Resolutions

I've never really made New Years Resoultions before as I knew that I'd never actually stick to them! However this year I've decided to give it a go, and try my hardest to stick to them. I think they're a good idea to get a fresh start and think about the small changes I might want to change to my life; I thought I'd share with you what I've come up with to follow in 2016.

1. Keep up my skincare routine

As a dancer I usually wear a full face of makeup on a day to day basis; since attending Dance School I've worn a lot more than I normally would, and as a result my skin has suffered. I've been getting a lot more spots than I used to get. Therefore, I really want to keep up a skincare routine so that my skin feels as good and healthy as it possibly can.

2. Drink more water

This leads me onto my second New Years Resolution; this is because I never end up drinking enough fluids on a daily basis, and I get the feeling of being a bit dehydrated fairly frequently. It's really important for your body to drink enough water, so this coming year I am going to aim to drink 2 litres of water a day. I've even bought myself a bottle that I can carry around with me to remind me to drink water! This will help me with my 1st New Years Resolution as drinking the right amount of water can do amazing things for your skin.

3. Eat healthier

I know that this is a really overdone New Years Resolution, that most people want to eat healthier, but end up forgetting to. But over the Christmas season I've let myself eat exactly what I've wanted to, without really thinking how it would effect my body. I've felt a lot more fatigued/tired and sluggish; so this year I am going to try and eat a lot healthier. This will also help me a lot more being a dancer as it'll give me the energy I need.

4. Blog more consistently

As I'm fairly new to the blogging world I never really got into a routine of when to post, so a lot of the time life got the better of me and I didn't blog. But this next year I want this to change! I've decided that I am going to blog twice a week and I will post these blog posts on Wednesday and Sunday at 7pm. This will begin in January; hopefully this will make it easier for you to follow my blog.
