Lush Yog Nog Bath Bomb Review

If you've read my previous Blog Posts (Lush's Candy Mountain and Lush's Dashing Santa) you will know that I had a huge haul from Lush and I will be reviewing each product over the month of December. Slowly but surely I have been working through the 2015 Christmas product range, as I love to make them last as much as possible; today I shall be reviewing Lush's Yog Nog Bath Bomb!

Yog Nog is a Bath Bomb that's new for the 2015 Christmas range; it's Toffee scented. It would be the perfect Bath Bomb for anyone who has a sweet tooth but wants a comforting scent too; it almost smells good enough to eat! I enjoyed this bath bomb on a cold evening, with tons of candles and a nice hot chocolate - which all made me feel totally relaxed.

I really like the yellow and white colours of this Bath Bomb as well as its attention to detail with tiny shapes of christmas trees and decorations. It's definitely a pretty and festive looking Bath Bomb!

It is another slow fizzier (much like the Dashing Santa bomb) as it took roughly 10-15 minutes to fully dissolve in the bath; the water is left a lovely golden yellow glittery coloured water. But as it fizzes, lots of yellow and white foam is released which is because of it being a mix between a bath bomb and a bath melt. This foam is made with a blend of cocoa and she butter which makes it especially moisturising for your skin. My skin felt incredibly smooth afterwards; the scent from the bomb even stayed on my skin the day after I bathed with it.

The only downside that I could imagine for some people is that it is a tad oily. This is to help with the moisturising properties that this Bath Bomb contains, but if you don't like an waxy feeling bath then this product isn't for you.

Ingredients - Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Organic Shea Butter, Snowflake Lustre, Clove Bud Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Cream of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, Laureth 4, Soya Milk Powder, Water (Aqua), Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Lauryl Betaine, Eugenol, Perfume, Yellow Lustre, Colour 45350, Colour 191401 and Colour 47005.

This product retails at £3.95 and is definitely a great new addition to the Lush Christmas range 2015! Have you tried this bath bomb? Let me know in the comments below; thank you for reading,

Let's keep in touch
