Boxing Sale Haul

Today, the Lush site was down which meant I couldn't order any sale items. I decided to take a trip into town to see if I could pick anything up from my local store instead! Quite luckily really as it still isn't working as I write this blog post now! I got into town for around 10am; by then most sale items had gone, but I still managed to get a few bits. I thought I'd share with you what I got from the Lush sale.

As I was checking out, the woman said that it had been so busy this morning that people were trying to get under the metal shutters (to get into the shop early); a grown man even pushed a child out the way to grab the bargains! Good old Peterborough! I can really imagine how manic the rush of the sale was this morning. Thankfully when I entered the store it wasn't too busy!

As all the Christmas range items were half price, my first priority was to pick up one of the gift boxes, as these are by far my favourites. By the time I got in there was only one of the 'Happy Christmas Gift Box' left in the whole store (gift box wise). I couldn't resist and took it as this was a sign that I needed to buy it! In this box there is Green Fun, Refresher Shower Jelly, The Comforter Shower Cream, Bubblegum Lip Scrub and Rock Star Soap. I've been meaning to try out a number of these items (especially the Comforter Shower Cream and the Fun) so I'm really excited to get stuck into this box!

I also got two Luxury Lush Puds (if you read my last post, you will know that I love this Bath Bomb and needed to stock up, if not you can catch up here), as well as a Butterbear Bath Bomb and two Stardust Bath Bombs. Then I picked up a few of my Skincare favourites, that weren't in the sale, as a repurchase (as I had some Christmas money left): Movis Facial Soap, Tea Tree Toner Water and a Mask of Magnaminty.

Overall I am fairly glad with my Boxing Day haul as I have a lot of new things to try out; I find it much much easier for my bank account to bulk purchase when everything is half price! Next year, I will definitely have to visit the store earlier to have first pick of the Christmas Gift sets!

Unfortunately, I didn't manage to do any other sale shopping. One glance to River Island made me feel extremely anxious when I saw busy it was! But I might have to look at some clothing sales online instead so I don't miss out! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Day and got everything you wanted and more! Did you manage get anything good in the Boxing Day sales? Thank you for reading,

Let's keep in touch
