Halloween 2015 & Lush Halloween Products

I absolutely love Autumn, the beautiful colours, the comfort food and most importantly Halloween!

This year, on the 31st October/Halloween my family and I decided to take a trip to Chessington World of Adventures. We had a very Halloween themed day and even manage to experience the two "Howl'o'ween" attractions as well as all of our favourite rides in the dark! We even came out with the Halloween gift of a packet Scream Egg biscuits each!

In the evening, we even managed to spend the time carving pumpkins; this year I decided to go for a Cheshire Cat design to go along with my theme from last year of Disney.

However, the thing that I was most excited about for this Halloween (like every year) is the Lush products! Although I did tell myself that I wasn't allowed to buy any of the Christmas range until November at the earliest, I was really excited for the range of limited edition Halloween products. So last week I popped into my local Lush store to check out and purchase the 2015 seasonal range.

The products I picked up

My definite favourite thing from Lush is the bath bombs as I love the colours and to watch them fizz away in the bath and I am also a huge fan of the Bubble Bars. So I decided to pick up the two that are in the range: the Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb and the Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar.

The Lord of Misrule was in last years collection, which is perfect because it was one of my favourites! It has a warm scent and produces green bubbles at first then a fizzing red centre is exposed, leaving your bath shades of red and green. It also includes popping candy, which if you've read my previous lush reviews, you know I love! This one is definitely perfect for Halloween night.

Ingredients - Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Popping Candy, Cream of Tartar, Black Pepper Oil, Patchouli Oil, Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute, Lauryl Betaine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Gardenia Extract, Limonene, Pefume, Colour 17200, Colour 42090 and Colour 19140.

The Sparkly Pumpkin was also one of my favourites from last year. It is a bright shade of orange and is covered in lots of gold glitter which is so fun in the bath (if you don't mind the clearing up). When it's put into the water it creates lots of bubbles and smells so refreshing with its fruity, citrus scent. I love how, as a bubble bar, you break it up and use for multiple baths; it is perfect for the autumnal season with it being long lasting.

Ingredients - Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Cornflour, Perfume, Juniperberry Oil, Lime Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Citral, Geraniol, Citronellol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 15510, Colour 45380, Gold Glimmer Lustre and Cinnamon Sticks.

These two products from the 2015 collection are reasonably priced, as they are under the £5 mark; so they make perfect Halloween treats! However, I am a little sad that this years collection is quite small, as I wouldn't have minded a few new bath bombs or bubble bars to try out. Also, I'm gutted that the two Bonfire night inspired bath bombs (the Sparkler and Northern Lights) haven't made a reappearance as Northern Lights was definitely one of my favourites.

What are your favourites from the 2015 Lush Range? Let me know in the comments below, thanks for reading,
