Maybelline Colour Tattoo Review

My Maybelline Colour Tattoo Collection

I needed a few new eyeshadow colours to mix up my look after I realised that I was using Soap and Glory's 'Minky' from the Lid Stuff palette pretty much every day. After checking out everything that my local Boots had I settled on three shades of the Maybelline Colour Tattoos.

Like many well-known beauty products, I had come late to this craze! I had read so many reviews about these and so I knew that it was something that I needed to try. After using, they definitely didn't disappoint and I fell immediately in love with them!

This was the first time I had ever used a cream eyeshadow and I now realise what I've been missing! They are a creamy consistency which is so easy to apply, and doesn't crease like many eyeshadows I've tried out. The other thing that is amazing about this product is its staying power. The product claims to stay for 24 hours, personally I couldn't wear it for that long; I would feel the need to wash my face at least once during this time! However, this product lasts all day without moving at all or creating a smudge under your eye (like lots of eyeshadows I've used)!

I firstly decided on 'Pink Gold' as I knew I was a fan of pink eyeshadows; I also picked up 'Metallic Pomegranate' and 'On and On Bronze' because Boots had a 3 for 2 deal on all Maybelline products.

Since then however, I have been hooked and every time I walk past a Boots or Superdrug I always need to go in and see if there are any more shades to pick up. Since, I have picked up 'Crème De Rose' and 'Vintage Plum'.

Out of the shades that I now own I feel that 'On and On Bronze' is my current favourite and I see myself reaching for it everyday when I apply my make-up.

I have even had compliments on my eyeshadows and the lasting wear of them since using these products. I don't have a bad word to say about them. You can't go wrong at the price of £4.99 and I highly recommend them.

Have you ever tried any of the Maybelline Colour Tattoos? Let me know in the comments below, and what your favourite shade is! Thank you for reading!
