Choccywoccydoodah Review

On Tuesday, my family and I were in London to see the evening performance of Billy Elliot. We decided that it was finally time to visit one of the most popular food attractions London has to offer: Choccywoccydoodah!

Probably most known for the tv programme, Choccywoccydoodah is a shop in Carnaby Street specialising in beautiful cakes that are decorated with very detailed, hand moulded chocolate. As soon as you step into the store you can see why it is so popular; it was packed full with stunning looking cakes and chocolate treats. Definitely a chocolate lovers heaven!

Browsing the shop I was completely amazed by the evident detail put into each and every cake, it's crazy how they managed to create such complex designs from chocolate.

Not only can you look at their amazing chocolate covered cakes; upstairs of the shop is their Café serving a selection of mouth watering treats. We definitely couldn't turn down a visit to it! I went for a lemonade and their dipping pot; it came with:
  • Strawberries
  • Biscuit
  • Turkish delight
  • Honeycomb
  • Blondies
  • Marshmallows
  • Chocolate curls
My sister had the chocolate cake (which was equally as rich) and my mum had the brownie (which was a steal at only £2.99). After eating more than our bodyweight in chocolate, we even had enough to take home with us for later!

I would definitely like to go back to visit again and I recommend it to any chocolate lover! There was a lot to see in the shop, the staff were lovely and the café had a large range of goodies on offer. It was the perfect pre-show treat and was definitely worth the visit!

Let's keep in touch
